How wonderful to spend today looking at this fascinating techinique which combines pigment with wax. The artwork is so beautiful as well; as some of our group said, many of the painters of this period rival any of the painters we consider masters. These artists and their subjects are unknown but their art & faces live on so we can create stories & history for them.
