Zenobia sent us a message about Mariko Kusumoto -- this marvelous artist who worked first with metal then with fabric and textiles. Astounding!  Top of the Day!  Here's the initial introduce that Zenobia sent -- link --  Weightless sculptures -- link --  Video of Mariko Kusumoto talking about her work -- link --  Mariko Kusumoto & Jean Paul Gauthier -- link --  AND now for something completely different (using Elaine's Monty Python reference!), a tradition from China of using cicada shells as art.
